Job Overview:

LeachGarner is seeking an early‑career Analytical Lab Technician to join our Assay Laboratory team. In this role, you'll be responsible for measuring chemical compositions of a wide variety of solid and liquid samples using wet chemistry, fire assay, and instrumentation methods. This role is a great opportunity for candidates who are already familiar with lab safety practices, sample handling, and precise measurement that are looking to expand their technical skills. Fire Assay experience is not required, we will train you.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, log, and track samples through structured laboratory workflows
  • Weigh and prepare solid and liquid samples using analytical balances
  • Perform sample weigh‑backs and accurately enter analytical data
  • Support daily and weekly lab reporting
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant laboratory work areas
  • Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and SOPs

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of hands‑on laboratory experience handling chemicals
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with precise measurements
  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, averages)
  • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a lab within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and consistently wear required PPE

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production laboratory
  • Familiarity with ERP or laboratory information systems
  • Exposure to materials testing, precious metals, or assay environments

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role operates in a manufacturing facility where conditions may include exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures (hot or cold), and moving machinery.

  • Hands-on work with chemicals and laboratory equipment
  • Work in warm or high-temperature laboratory areas
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds
  • Mandatory use of PPE in accordance with safety requirements at all times

Location: On-site in Attleboro, MA

Schedule: Full-time, 5:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday

Pay range: $20 - $25/hour

This range represents the hourly wage the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of posting, in compliance with Massachusetts law. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on relevant experience, education, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and business needs.
