Collins Aerospace is looking for an Analyst, Operations Systems to implement the company’s CORE strategy. You will work with others regarding quality improvement processes and systems to enhance quality performance using CORE tools. You will assist in the development and implementation of new products, processes, standards and/or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results. You will also work on improving existing processes and practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in Kaizen, Continuous Improvement & Lean events including follow-up implementation and/or validation tasks
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of defects or causes of cycle time increase.
• Work directly with and in support of Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to complete root cause analysis and assist in the development of countermeasures.
• General collection and analysis of manufacturing process data
• Assist in the review & validation of Standard Work for manufacturing tasks and activities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
• US Citizen and/or US Person

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuous improvement experience
• Lean manufacturing experience
