Job Overview:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the PLM Director in managing P&L and overall financial performance
  • Track revenue and gross margin for the business
  • Monitor sales activity and order backlog
  • Assist with annual budgeting and 5-year planning
  • Track monthly internal and external shipping results
  • Help prepare business cases for R&D and CapEx investments
  • Partner with sales and product marketing teams worldwide to track design-in opportunities
  • Support sales in developing customer engagement plans and coordinating sample shipments
  • Review customer requirements and work with the PLM Director to develop winning proposals — specs and pricing
  • Support internal customers by tracking and updating in-feed development schedules
  • Maintain product part numbers and datasheets
  • Manage Product Change Notification (PCN) to the customers
  • Assist in defining and driving product strategy
  • Monitor the competitive landscape
  • Prepare exhibition samples for industry shows and conferences

Education & Experience

  • Education Level Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Majors: Engineering or Business
  • Experience with data analysis and AI tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with core business concepts — P&L, gross margin, cost and pricing, business case development, and CapEx budgeting

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural, global team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Working Conditions

This role will be based on-site in Fremont. Typical of a climate-controlled, professional office environment, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
