Job Overview:

The position provides the aspiring finance and accounting professional with unique experiences in accounting, finance and related functions. Over the course of this three year rotational program, the incumbent will have the opportunity to develop their career through rotations that will last between six and twelve months. The rotations are designed to provide a well-rounded view of Covetrus’ business and finance competencies, where the individual will be expected to make significant contributions to the overall success of the organization. The program will offer training through each rotation to develop the individual’s core competencies and result in well-rounded business professionals that will be the future leaders within the company.

In this role, the analyst will be a key member of the finance team, participating in several rotations across key roles in the finance organization. Such roles could include Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Finance, Operations Finance, Controllership, and Treasury and will be tailored based on business needs and the skills & interest of FDP members.

The Covetrus FDP is intended to give finance team members exposure to multiple facets of the finance organization within a global company – leading to a highly engaged, well-rounded and collaborative financial analyst with exposure to and experience with multiple areas in the organization. FDP participants are future finance leaders in the animal health industry and are expected to participate in multiple, sometimes disparate roles with a high level of engagement.

Depending on the role and rotation, responsibilities may include the following, as well as other duties as assigned:

• Regular update of business forecast & outlook

• Review and reconciliation of SEC filings

• Competitor & market analysis

• Participation in annual budgeting process

• Detailed modeling of key business drivers

• Cash & liquidity forecasting

• Participation in monthly close and journal entry process

• Monthly & quarterly account reconciliation

• Preparation of materials in support of earnings guidance
