The Opportunity

Power Management

Job Responsibilities:



Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 15+ years of related experience.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 10-12 years of experience.
PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 8-10 years of experience.

Proven experience in IC design including :

  • Tape-out of the design AND lab evaluation of the design.
  • Transistor level design of analog circuits such as amplifiers, comparators, and LDO’s
  • Performing or supervising analog custom layout
  • Experience in measuring IC performance and debug of design to correlate simulations to measurements

Experience with DC-DC converter design including at least some of the following:

  • Understanding topologies such as buck and boost converters
  • Understanding DC-DC converter control algorithms & stability analysis
  • Design and optimization of power transistors and power transistor driver circuits
  • Selection and optimization of capacitors and inductors, including practical effects of parasitics and non-idealities

Deep understanding of fundamentals, including:

  • Detailed transistor level design
  • Device physics
  • Control/Feedback loop stability analysis
  • Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills.

Experience in any of the following areas a plus:

  • ADC-DAC design
  • PLL or clock/freq generation design
  • Package-System integration issues
  • Design & analysis of magnetic devices
