The engineer will have responsibility for the design, development, integration and test of cutting-edge analog circuit card assembly and power system designs used in satellite communication terminals utilized in a variety of airborne, shipboard, ground transportable and ground fixed applications.
The engineer will reside within the Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) Communications & Airspace Management Systems (CAMS) Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for full-scope Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for satellite terminal products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of satellite terminal systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.
The Analog and Power Systems Design Engineer will provide analog and power systems support to the Protected Communications Systems product line primarily for Satellite Communication Products. The analog and power systems support encompasses the design, development, evaluation, and test of power filters, power supplies, and power distribution systems for in-house ground based and spaceflight hardware programs. Insight will be provided for out-of-house designed power filters, power supplies, and power distribution systems.
This position can be located in Marlborough, MA or Largo, FL.
