We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Westfield, MA, 01085. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement effective repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in refrigeration preferred.
• Proven experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• EPA certification for refrigerants is a plus.
