C-130J Material Review Engineer Sr. - Assignment is for the Marietta site, covering second shift for the C-130J production line. The candidate must possess a unique set of skills combining strong Engineering credentials with a solid understanding of the manufacture of aircraft. Primary duties of this assignment include anomaly investigation, technical solution development and preparation and release of dispositions for discrepancies on aircraft detail parts, assemblies and installations. Position requires a broad knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, with the flexibility to work some off hours and weekends. Successful candidate shall have a strong internal customer focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited college.

Experience working in production, depot or flight test operations environment.

Experience with structural repair of airframe.

Desired skills

-Prior Material Review Engineering experience
-Prior experience with aircraft design, assembly, or repair
-Logical problem solver
-Self-starting, multi-tasker with a willingness to work off-shift hours and weekends when requested to provide necessary support
-Prior experience with aircraft structures, design, and/or analysis

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $79,300 - $132,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
