CHC Americas Rewards Business Partner and Global Incentives Lead is a key role within the CHC organisation responsible for the Global review of all incentive plans and the management of the Reward function for CHC Americas as the People Recognition team transform the Reward and Recognition approaches for the CHC business.
As part of a close-knit team of 4 people, the role will require strong project management and change management skills and an ability to “see things differently” as the CHC organisation builds the World’s leading global consumer healthcare company.
This role will play a support role in the construction of an innovative Reward philosophy for CHC to improve the attraction and retention of key talents and will project lead transformational Global Rewards projects for CHC.
Also, while driving the CHC Reward strategy across the Americas region – within the framework of the corporate CHC strategy - the role will require the ability to ensure seamless delivery of support to CHC business leaders and HRBPs across the region and also to coordinate with the wider Sanofi group in the countries in many aspects of the Reward function to ensure smooth operation.
Main areas of responsibility for the Americas role:
Work with the CHC North America and LATAM regional business leaders and HRBPs to anticipate their needs and address complex topics that are escalated.
Build strong rewards acumen and best practices sharing mindset within the Americas HR CHC communities
Work to ensure smooth governance and operation of the Reward function across the North America and LATAM regions, ensuring that CHC uses the Sanofi R&P (Reward & Performance) teams in the countries in an efficient manner but also to manage complex topics for the region that are escalated.
Define and ensure good understanding of CHC policies & practices across the regions and monitor implementation.
Communicate towards North America and LATAM LTs throughout the year, in coordination with the CHC central People Recognition team to ensure effective roll out of Reward approaches
Monitor the competitive Fast-Moving Consumer Healthcare marketplace to benchmark externally.
Partner with HRBP and Finance teams to provide relevant data/personal cost as per grading/local market competitiveness in order to ensure proper financial forecast/cost planning (align with budget cycle exercise).
Partner with regional commercial excellence team to ensure consistency of sales incentives practices and schemes across Americas while fitting with overall CHC Rewards strategy
Contribute to the smooth operation of the Sanofi Benefits and International Mobility R&P services offered to CHC in North America and LATAM.
Build an external network in the Americas to develop ideas for innovation and constant improvement.
Main areas of responsibility for the Global Incentives role:
Partner with the CHC Global People & Recognition Head on the development of clear CHC Incentive Principles and Purposes
Collaborate with Sanofi Global Executive Compensation Team on maximising the existing LTI framework for CHC.
Lead the discussion on the best STI Scorecard for employees in order to support the CHC vision
Partner with Global Commercial Teams to develop a globally consistent approach for Sales Incentive Plans
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Required knowledge and/or experience:
Minimum 5+ years experience in Reward and Performance roles or in similar professional environments with FMCG experience a plus
Strong team working skills including an ability to work across borders, cultures and within multi-disciplinary teams
Strong communication skills including the ability to prepare and present technical topics to meetings in a way that is easy to understand
Strong project management, numeracy and technical skills including working experience of excel and database systems.
Networking, Business Partnering and Business Acumen skills.
Complete fluency in English, with some competency in Spanish and/or Portuguese being a bonus
University Degree or equivalent, MBA is a plus
