The Americas Process Owner - Invoice To Pay (I2P) role is responsible for translating and driving the implementation of the global strategy for the I2P process within the Americas region with the goal of realizing efficiencies, higher accuracy and enhanced controls. In this capacity, the RPO will help translate as required the enterprise-wide standards for the process for Americas region, Implement, measure & analyse the KPIs for the process, and drive the transformational agenda within the region to realize stated goals. This role will represent the Global Process Organization on all process, technology & delivery model (captive, outsourcing, location) related projects / initiatives as it relates to the Invoice to Pay cycle within the Americas region, ensuring that all key stakeholders & decision-makers within MGS Smart Financial Operations (SFO) and across upstream functions like sourcing and procurement, segments, and broader S&F organization are appropriately engaged.

What are we looking for?

  • Undergraduate degree in any discipline (preferably in Finance, logistics, supply chain)
  • Professional Certification (e.g. CA/CPA) and master degree preferred (MBA)
  • 15 or more years of deep domain experience in Invoice to Pay in CPG industry experience is critical to the role. Will have ideally led a Global Process Owner role in the past of similar size and scale
  • Direct experience working in Shared Services space and/or BPO service provider is preferred with global exposure (understanding of regional level nuances)
  • Good exposure to P2P technologies like Ariba, OB10, Taulia and workflow technologies like Basware, Readsoft required. SAP environment experience is an added plus
  • Experience in T&E solutions like Concur, Oracle iExpense, Infor, Mobile Xpense.
  • Prior experience in leading transformational program or enterprise wide change initiatives
  • Experience in Global Delivery Model and Business Process Outsourcing critical
  • Lean six sigma certification will be preferred;

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Drive the deployment of the global I2P strategy within the Americas region, understanding and translating any local/ regional requirements to shape how the strategy gets adopted

  • Support the GPO on understanding external leading practices / benchmarks and help develop the process transformation roadmap for the region.

  • Drive the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the region
  • Represent the GPO organization / Americas region on all I2P process standardization projects/initiatives – identifying where customizations would be required

  • Support the GPO on maintaining/updating the process and control standards (PACS) documentation for I2P

  • Lead / Represent the GPO on developing and/or validating the business case that supports the implementation of I2P transformation projects including innovation, digital and automation (bolt on tools, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning layers and end to end process re-engineering) within the Americas region

  • Accountable for ensuring the delivery of the stated business case within the region

  • Collaborate and provide inputs, and participate in related initiatives (e.g. SAP Central Finance and S4 HANA) as it relates to I2P within the Americas region
