Job Title: Aluminum Welder

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MIG & TIG welding aluminum, steel & stainless steel, the ability to work with tight tolerances, and strong leadership skills. This position requires a highly skilled individual who can produce quality welds, maintain production standards, and assist in leading and supporting the welding team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG & TIG welding on aluminum, steel & stainless steel materials.· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Fabricate and weld components while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Lead and support the welding team by providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred).
  • Strong experience welding aluminum, steel & stainless steel.
  • Proven ability to work with tight tolerances and precision fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Welding certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
  • Schedule - Full-time
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs.
