Hormel Foods – Sleeveline Operator
Location: Alma, KS
Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 10:00PM-6:00AM; extended hours and weekends may be required)
The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery to meet quality and productivity standards. This role includes monitoring equipment performance, completing required documentation accurately, and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities
Operate assigned machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required production paperwork.
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to maintain workflow.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform routine checks and assist with basic maintenance as needed.
Utilize AS400 terminals for data entry and production tracking (if applicable).
Qualifications
Required:
Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude
Food/Meat manufacturing experience
Experience with Automated Boxing Equipment Preferred
