What You'll Do

• Apply protective and decorative coatings to aerospace parts, assemblies, and finished products.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing operations.
• Select, mix, and prepare paints, primers, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, and other coating materials.
• Utilize spray guns to apply coatings according to specifications and quality requirements.
• Apply coatings with brushes and rollers in areas inaccessible to spray equipment.
• Prime and paint a variety of aerospace structures and components.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Support quality verification activities and statistical process control initiatives when required.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet schedule and performance goals.

Required Qualifications

• Experience applying paint, primer, coatings, or finishes in a manufacturing, production, automotive, marine, aerospace, or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate painting equipment, including spray guns and related tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and commitment to meeting production schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous aerospace painting or coating experience.
• Experience working within a paint, wet chemistry, or manufacturing production environment.
• Familiarity with quality inspection standards and process controls.
• Knowledge of aerospace coatings, primers, and finishing techniques.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries where precision and quality are critical.

Pay Details: $31.84 per hour
