Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company as a Program Logistics Manager on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team. This position will support the F-35 Aircraft Program at our Patuxent River, Maryland facility.

Responsibilities include:
• Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of fighter aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.
• Ensures Good House keeping and Safety practices are enforced for Developmental Foundation Contract (DFC).
• Responsible for subordinate training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Provides technical assistance as required.
• Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Assists in signing the aircraft exceptional release off.

• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Must have or be able to obtain at minimum an Interim Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance

Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• At least 7 years Fighter aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must have been previously awarded an Air Force, Marine, or Navy 7 to 9 level discipline skill level rating or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credentials such as a licensed FAA “Airframe and Power plant or Inspector Airframe license.
• Multi-system aircraft trained and certified with ability to work in fast paced flexible environment
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office software.
• Working Knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, Supply Chain Management, or Time Accounting.
• Experience supervising multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints and interpret/translate instructions to mechanics/technicians.
• Experience developing work schedules for employees.
• Leadership experience.

Desired skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

• Experience in Flight Test environment
• F-35 experience
• An FAA aircraft and engine mechanic A&P license is desirable.
• Experience performing in a role of task trainer certifier.

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $64,900 - $108,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
