The Product Transformation Office is a collaborative entity within Kimberly Clark's Global IT (Digital Technology Solutions - DTS) organization that engages across the business and DTS to drive Product and Agile Transformation for K-C’s digital products and services.
As a member of this team, you'll engage in transforming DTS to into a customer focused, outcome driven organization by adopting Agile best practices. The role will provide coaching to Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile teams and will also engage with leaders on adopting product, Agile mindset, and execution. You'll also monitor effectiveness of the transformation journey and bring industry best practice to drive continuous improvement to product management and Agile practices.
Role will report to the Agile Center of Excellence Lead within the Digital Technology Solutions organization and role will be an individual contributor.
Key Interfaces: DTS Leadership, Product Transformation Sponsors, Business Leaders, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Delivery / Scrum teams, Regional & Functional Subject Matter Experts, Product and Agile Coaches
Travel may include approximately 5-10% of work time.
You'll coach and facilitate teams in all aspects of Agile mindset and execution. Scope includes jump-starting new teams and on-going coaching for project teams and product teams (scrum, Kanban or hybrid)
Act as primary coaching resource (hands-on coaching) for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Agile teams.
Provide one on one coaching to Product Owners related to product backlog management, release planning, backlog refinement, writing quality user stories, story splitting/breakdown, defining acceptance criteria, sprint planning and user acceptance testing.
Provide one on one coaching to Scrum Masters on how to serve the Scrum team, serve the Product Owner and serve the Organization
Provide coaching to teams in implementing Scrum/Kanban, capacity planning, estimation (including but not limited to story pointing), backlog refinement, measuring velocity and other metrics, improving quality and effectiveness and driving continuous improvement of team performance
Develop agile training materials and training modules for Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Teams and Leadership.
Deliver hands-on training in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools (like Mural, Miro or others) in support of enterprise-wide initiatives for internal agile development paths
Coordinate and facilitate agile related communities of practice activities to drive shared learnings across the enterprise
Be a part of the Agile Center of Excellence and help scale Agile and roll out best practices like Agile metrics.
Observe teams to assess the agile maturity and use the outcome as input into improvement roadmaps.
Influence leadership and their teams throughout to drive adoption of Agile methods
B.A. or B.S./M.S. (Advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field
12+ years of Professional experience with a minimum of 4 years of Information Technology experience.
5+ years of working in an Agile Software Delivery Environment
3+ years of providing coaching to Agile Teams
1+ years of acting as a Scrum Master
Experience coaching agile teams that are dispersed globally
Excellent training skills in classroom and in virtual setting using collaboration tools like Mural, Miro or others
Experience with Agile Life Cycle Management Tools (JIRA or AzureDevops)
Solid virtual meeting facilitation, interpersonal communication, training, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience designing and implementing scrum of scrums for global products with regional delivery
Expert problem-solving ability and experience leading groups through problem solving methodology
2+ years Product Management experience
2+ years Product Owner experience
IT application services delivery experience; Scrum-Master Certification; Product Owner Certification
Experience with DevOps and Platform development
