Job Description:

Job Summary

The Aftermarket Sales Administrator collects and maintains information of the installed machine base for aftermarket sales and support. Understanding and knowing the physical status and location of sold machinery is key to providing our customers with preventative maintenance and technology updates to ensure longevity of their machinery while delivering revenue to the business.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate data collection of all newly sold and legacy machine/install base information including serial number, model information and ship to/sold to location.
  • Create and maintain an accurate view of current equipment install base by customer location, including current machine status (i.e. active, decommissioned), audit history and physical location changes.
  • Responsible for ongoing collection and input of information into CRM data base (D365) related to all new equipment sold for all global locations.
  • Main point of contact for continuous flow of field updates from sales and service teams.
  • Develop and implement a systematic method for entry of field install base updates into CRM data base.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with sales administration, outside sales and service teams to maximize information collection initiatives.
  • Develop tools (templates, guides, share points, etc.) to simplify the efficient collection of relevant field data.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define model and product group definitions for efficient CRM data base recognition and analytics.

Skills and Competencies Requirements:

  • Proficient user of CRM System, preferably MS Dynamics 365.
  • Proficient user of ERP system, preferably Infor XA/MAPICS.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Highly self-motivated, must work well with little to no supervision.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication skills using various modes of communication.

Measure for Success:

  • Location information, serial numbers and technical specifications for machines sold/install base populated in D365 database going forward, for last 5 years (80%) and eventually documenting further legacy installations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years related data administrative experience.

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally.
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards.
