Sikorsky a Lockheed Martin Company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial and military missions. This role will support the Aerostructures group which is responsible for the structural assembly of our fixed wing aircraft in Stratford, CT. We are looking for an Aero-structure Supervisor who will provide supervision and oversight to a team of hourly bargaining unit employees engaged in the major assemblies and complete aircraft structures. This individual will ensure all components are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for team’s productivity while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements Responsible for transition of work requirements between shiftsManage and approve employee(s) timekeeping in SAPParticipate in meetings throughout the dayManage employee development; must be able to develop employees skills and prepare them for future job assignments. Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring standard work and environment, health and safety (EH&S) requirements are met. Comply with all company ethics policies, principles, and practices Manage direct and indirect budget Selected candidate will require to work in 1st and 3rd Shifts

Basic Qualifications

Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible
Strong influencing skills
Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict
Good at following and creating procedures
Operate in a team environment
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina
Able to ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal customers and employees

Desired skills

Experience leading in a union environment
Experience in aerospace
Tableau experience

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $72,400 - $120,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
