  • Drive root cause analysis (8D methodology) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits (AS9100, NADCAP exposure preferred)
  • Monitor and improve key quality metrics (scrap, rework, FPY, cost of quality)
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues in real time
  • Ensure robust documentation, traceability, and quality system integrity
  • Support supplier quality initiatives and vendor corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and mentor quality team members to strengthen organizational capability

Required Qualifications

  • 7–15+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing quality
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 requirements
  • Experience working with or supporting Pratt & Whitney, GE, Rolls-Royce, or equivalent aerospace OEMs
  • Proven leadership experience managing quality teams (inspectors and/or engineers)
  • Strong background in:
  • MRB / NCR management
  • Root cause analysis (8D, fishbone, etc.)
  • CAPA systems and audit readiness
  • Experience in aerospace or highly regulated precision manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • NADCAP audit exposure or certification experience
  • Experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 aerospace suppliers
  • Familiarity with ERP/QMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Plex, etc.)
