We’re looking for an Aerospace¨NBSP;Plant Manufacturing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, drives daily production excellence, and builds strong, process-driven teams.

This role isn’t just about running the floor — it’s about owning results, refining systems, and building toward a General Manager path.

**What You’ll Do

**

• Lead day-to-day operations of a high-mix, low-volume aerospace CNC machining facility (24/5 operation).

• Manage production supervisors, leads, and planners to meet on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.

• Drive schedule adherence and daily performance through structured systems and KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Scheduling to resolve real-time issues.

• Lead continuous improvement and implement standard work, 5S, and process control systems.

• Conduct daily Gemba walks and ensure accountability across all shifts.

• Develop and coach staff — from setup machinists to front-line supervisors — to create a culture of excellence and ownership.

**What You Bring

**

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent technical, military, or progressive manufacturing leadership experience considered.

• **5+ years

  ** of progressive manufacturing leadership; 3+ years in leadership

  and operations management (e.g., Production Supervisor, Value Stream Manager).

• Background in precision machining; aerospace, defense, or other regulated industry (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.) strongly preferred.

• Proven success leading through structured processes, metrics, and accountability systems.

• Confident, informed decision-maker — able to act with urgency to keep production moving.

• Experience leading 5-axis milling and multi-axis turning operations.

• Six Sigma Black Belt or Project Management (PMP) certification.

• Prior experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or process transitions.

• Advanced GD&T or ASME Y14.5-2018 certification.
