This exciting position is with our historic Skunk Works program. Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems.
The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our unclassified projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightening II.

As an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) technician, you will be an integral member of the technical interface team, supporting the on-site Customer, resolving issues arising from operations and / or maintenance activities. In-depth knowledge of the following is mandatory: principles of electricity, electronics, general mechanics, heating, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, and reciprocating and turbine engines; troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and modifying equipment; use of automated maintenance systems; application of maintenance management techniques; interpretation of maintenance directives, technical publications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics; and proper identification, handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste materials.
Perform maintenance on and certify the operational readiness of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) to support aircraft systems or subsystems. Perform and analyze work accomplished on AGE to ascertain and certify condition status of components (i.e., NRTS Codes, Condemnation, DR Exhibit Tags and Serviceable Condition Tags). Perform fault isolation by studying drawings, viewing diagrams and schematics, and technical instructions. Use Automated Logistics Management System (ALMS) to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirement, maintain equipment records and document maintenance actions. Operate and maintain AGE towing vehicles and positions equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.
Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and excellent people skills are a must. Must be able to work with and interact with the customers as well as Program Engineers.
Candidates must be willing to travel to and work at austere remote locations and accept assignment to customer selected locations to support customer requirements.
**Must have a TS clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years**

Ability to work remotelyOnsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $72,100 - $120,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
