Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Composite Technician who places resin pre-impregnated fabrics and tapes onto layup molds using hands, wrists, and arms to apply pressure and remove air pockets; requires knowledge of fabric direction and ply orientation. They will cut vacuum bag materials and to create vacuum bags and prepare parts for transfer to the autoclave department. They will ensure layups and vacuum bags are prepared according to the requirements of manufacturing travelers. This person will learn quickly, is detail oriented, performs high-quality work, works well with others, and is focused on completing the task on time.
