Job Overview:

The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

The primary role of Supply Chain function is to be responsible for all operational activities including key deliverables such as planning and analyzing resources and ensuring items are packaged according to specifications. Coordinating import and export. Performing distribution center/warehousing processing and distribution of orders. Developing & maintaining master schedule, pertaining to transport and cost effectiveness. Maintaining inventory levels. Identifying delivery problems, solutions, and improvement of transportation service levels.

  • The primary objective of Logistics & Sales Operations specialization within Supply Chain Job Family is to oversee the logistics processes that enable and optimize the physical distribution of materials, products and information flow from point of supply to end customer.
  • Key responsibilities include inbound and outbound transportation, distribution, warehousing and fulfilment, import/export, forwarding, customs and 3rd party logistics and governance of these functions.
  • The role includes various statutory reporting of pricing and material movements which varies by country.
  • Sales Operations works closely with the Demand Planner and Commercial business to assist in optimizing the long term sales forecast.
  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Responsibilities might include:

    (1) Performing routine professional-based activities (early in career)

    (2) Contributing to and managing projects (mid-career)

    (3) Providing advice/direction in primary areas of expertise (specialist and expert)

    (4) Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results (principal)
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
  • May lead the work of project teams and will often formally train junior staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
