The **REGAL REXNORD **team is looking for an **Advanced CNC Machinist **to fuel their passion to grow by improving themselves, leading others, and exceeding expectations. Success in this role requires a strong strategic and analytical orientation, coupled with exceptional communication skills, and superb machining knowledge. This is an **active machining role **that we are looking to guide other machinists.
You’ll work with **state-of-the-art CNC mills/lathes **and be responsible for setup, operation, minor programming adjustments, and in-process inspection. If you take pride in **producing perfect parts the first time, **we want to hear from you.
$4000 Sign-on Bonus*– Paid in installments throughout your first year.
What The Advanced Position Involves:
- Lead by example—coach, train, and cross-train team members in precision CNC machining operations and best practices.
- Train and teach team members to identify Value Added (VA) and Non-Value Added (NVA) activities in process and set goals to eliminate NVA activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues and drive improvements.
- Monitor production schedules, maintain supplies, and create maintenance work orders as needed.
- Ensure adherence to standard work, safety procedures, and 6S principles.
- Step in to support production when team members are absent or engaged in improvement activities.
- Facilitate a safe working environment, maintain an acceptable and sustainable level of 6S (Safety and 5S).
- Execute production schedule and chart hourly.
Experience (Preferred):
- 2 or more years as a Team Lead in manufacturing, especially a skilled machining environment.
- 5 Years experience working with CNC Machinery, including machine maintenance and G & M programming.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and ability to focus on continuous improvement strategies.
- Proven leadership skills to include but not limited to effectively influencing others without direct authority, and exercising patience to train, mentor and develop team members .
- Attention to detail and accuracy which involves using specific measuring tools, expertise in reading blueprints/schematics, and understanding of metrology.
Specials Skills:
- Excellent work performance, reliability, dependability, to include but not limited to: attendance, disciplinary record and performance reviews.
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as required.
- Proficiency with computers, MS Office, and Oracle is desired.
- Proficiency in English language skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
Other Requirements:
- 1st or 2nd shift availability.
- Must be able to lift, move, manipulate up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and / or walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to legally authorized to work in the U. S. for any employer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
