We are hiring Advanced Assemblers for a contract-to-perm opportunity in Franklin, WI. This 1st shift position performs advanced electrical assembly and testing of electrical power equipment in a production environment.

The role combines electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and working from technical documentation across multiple production and test stations.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electrical products using bills of material, blueprints, engineering documentation, and change notices.

  • Perform electrical testing throughout the assembly and test process.

  • Complete testing at designated timing stations and run equipment through required operations.

  • Perform mechanical assembly work, including disconnect assemblies.

  • Read and work from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

  • Use hand tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, machining tools, and other required production equipment.

  • Work safely and follow established production procedures.

  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-station manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Two years of electronic assembly and wiring experience, or applicable technical/trade education as considered by the client.

  • High-voltage electrical experience for test-cell responsibilities.

  • Ability to read complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.

  • Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience using hand tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other production tools.

  • Ability to meet applicable respirator certification requirements.

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, handling components, and frequently lifting 5–50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime 2–3 Fridays per month.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree.

  • Applicable electrical or mechanical trade-school education.

  • Previous hands-on experience with energized electrical testing.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $27.00/hour – firm

  • Contract-to-perm opportunity.
