The government client requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for any/all positions that will require travel.

Full vaccination (against COVID-19) is defined as: an individual must be either two weeks past the last shot of a two-shot vaccination sequence, or two weeks past the only shot of a one-shot vaccination sequence. 

Description of Duties:

The Administrative Intern supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Looking for candidates with a background in one or more of the following areas: Project or Data Analyst, Data Entry, Pricing & Proposals, Customer Service, and/or Recruiting.

The candidate(s) will:

• Assist permanent staff in their discipline in support of the Missile Defense Agency.
• Support with various related tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate will have at least ONE of the following:

• A background/aptitude for Finance, Pricing, Proposals, and/or Data Analysis. This candidate will assist with tracking budgets, scheduling resources, and meeting Earned Value Management and/or Finance and Accounting contract reporting requirements.
• A background/aptitude for Customer Service and/or Recruiting. This candidate will assist with onboarding of new hires, staffing and recruiting, and supporting Human Resources with workforce lifecycle management.

Selected Interns will:

• Be able to work independently and with teams as priorities determine. This includes attending virtual and in person meetings, responding to emails, and using office productivity software.
• Be available for full-time employment and local to Colorado Springs, Colorado with the ability to attend in person meetings as needed.
• Be eager to solve problems and take ownership of those problems.
• Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to people of varied technical backgrounds.

This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO

This position is expected to pay $38,000 - $41,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 year of general experience

• Must have, or be able to obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
