The Americas Hub is part of Sanofi Global Internal Audit and Risk Management (SIA + RM) which reports to the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit Committee. The mission of Sanofi Internal Audit and Risk Management is to provide the Executive Committee and the Audit Committee with independent and objective reasonable assurance regarding the group’s ability to control its operations according to the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) international standards.
Sanofi Internal Audit and Risk Management helps the company execute its strategy and achieve business objectives by assessing and improving the effectiveness of Sanofi’s governance, risk management, and control processes. Sanofi Internal Audit and Risk Management commits to alert management on significant risks and to monitor their effective mitigation.
Aiming at being recognized as a trusted business partner, Sanofi Internal Audit and Risk Management fosters a Risk Management Culture within Sanofi and drives changes within Sanofi processes, governance and culture. The Department relies on 3 Hubs: Paris (France), the Americas and Singapore as well as on 1 Center of Expertise: Information Systems. The Americas hub covers both North America and Latin America.
The Coordinator provides administrative and project management support to the Head of Internal Audit, Americas and Americas hub team while closely coordinating with the other SIA + RM hubs and the broader Sanofi organization to ensure the team is able to execute against its day-to-day activities and commitments.
Administrative Support to Function Head and Department
Diary and meeting management, including planning / scheduling complex meetings w/ internal and external auditees and stakeholders, and agenda and meeting materials preparation
Travel organization and visa management in compliance w/ Sanofi travel policy
Expense report preparation (for Function Head) and Expense Report Checks of staff
Annual Budget Planning and Management in coordination with Function Head
Coordination of all recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding activities, including training and systems access for new hires, VIE’s and interns
General administration and maintenance of Americas Hub filing system, folders and Teams site ensuring confidentiality of data/reports is maintained at all times
Assist in the general management of the SIA + RM function as miscellaneous projects / support arise, including assisting other hubs / members of the function and collaborating cross-hub to ensure knowledge-sharing and effective operations

Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
4+ years of related experience, including support at senior management level
Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point);
Prior experience as a member of an in-house audit, risk management, legal, or compliance department and/or at a biotechnology or pharmaceuticals company preferred;
Experience working in a matrixed international environment preferred

Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including globally, as this position requires frequent interaction with senior / executive level individuals and their assistants to facilitate meetings that address business needs on short notice.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and still meet high quality and timeliness standards under pressure with limited supervision;
Ability to use independent judgment to make administrative and procedural decisions;
Must have the ability to recognize and work with highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and diplomacy, taking extreme care in executing tasks while maintaining necessary confidentiality. Must be comfortable being “in the know” but not sharing information, internally or externally, until permitted to do so, and to manage sensitive/confidential issues;
Team player with a solution-oriented approach and a commitment to developing strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and a demonstrated ability to foster a cooperative work environment;
Ability to draft and edit correspondence and other documents;
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports;
