Job Type: Temporary / Contract

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Day Shift)

  • Six-month assignment with the potential for full-time conversion (not guaranteed)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous data entry experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer systems
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Available to start immediately if selected

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Clerk to support daily departmental operations in the Northwest Houston, Texas area. This role provides administrative support through scheduling, data entry, document management, and communication coordination. Responsibilities also include scanning shipping and receiving documentation into shared electronic filing systems.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and print shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading (BOL), and customs/international shipping documentation.
  • Confirm shipments within ERP systems and scan daily shipment records into document management systems.
  • Process shipping requests and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service while adhering to organizational standards.
  • Support a safe, organized, and clean work environment by maintaining shelves, pallet areas, and workstations.
  • Run Ship Not Invoiced (SNI) reports and coordinate with billing teams to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Maintain shipping supply areas in compliance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Follow safe work practices and company safety requirements.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
  • Capable of following detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or factory environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and perform repetitive movements for up to eight hours per day.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with a focus on accurate data entry.
  • Experience with inventory control and equipment maintenance preferred.
