Job Overview:

Reports to: Inventory Control Manager Grade/Level: Entry to Intermediate Hourly/Salary: Hourly

Department: Admin

Job Status: Full-time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: M – F; 9am – 6pm or according to manager’s discretion; Overtime and some weekends as required

Position Summary:

Perform routine clerical and organization tasks related to shipping/receiving, inventory tracking, manufacturing, and sales.

Essential Functions:

  • Enter computer transactions associated with inventory purchasing, movement, manufacturing, and sales
  • Assist with planning of purchasing, trucking, and manufacturing
  • Prepare paperwork required for trucking and manufacturing
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory transactions
  • Perform monthly physical inventory counts outside for several hours in various weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, customers and employees
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to customer and employee requests
  • Be precise, detail-oriented, and organized while processing multiple activities with rapidly changing priorities
  • Data entry
  • Maintain and update inventory records

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Initially type 35 wpm with an error of 1/100 Goal to be 80 wpm and 1/500 errors per keystrokes
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Background in MS Office applications required
  • Minimum 6 months experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar administrative role in supply chain, distribution, or manufacturing preferred

A controlled atmosphere set within a warehouse environment.
