Overview

Provides a wide variety of administrative support Human Resources / EHS.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Uses multiple payroll software systems to maintain the timekeeping system, input payroll data, and prepares payroll reports. Processes irregular payments such as reimbursements and off cycle checks.
  • Answers employee questions related to payroll and resolves issues.
  • Assists with recruitment and hiring process which may include scheduling interviews, making phone calls to prospective candidates,
  • Composes and types routine correspondence.
  • Maintains various confidential files and database programs to ensure accurate departmental records.
  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and ensures all Human Resources files including personnel files, medical files, and I-9 files for the group are kept according to State and Federal law.
  • May assist in resolving benefits related issues.
  • Assists with various training classes.
  • Answers and screens telephone calls, and arranges conference calls.
  • Coordinates schedules and makes appointments.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
  • Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
  • Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • May be responsible for catering orders and/or any meeting preparations.

Basic Qualifications

Associate’s degree in business or related field and 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
