Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an Acute Care Marketing Manager, Video for the technology vertical at KARL STORZ.  In this role, you will develop and deploy strategies and content to grow and drive market share growth of our acute care video portfolio. The Acute Care Marketing Manager will be responsible for customer and market trend understanding, content development, and market share growth to drive portfolio sales and profitability; ensuring that the most creative and effective content is in the right place at the right time to drive sales; and oversee social media strategies.



Key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Market Understanding

  • In depth understanding of customers’ needs, including various buyer personas
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party market data sources and ability to translate to Market Share estimations and market potential
  • Ability to research, understand and analyze competitive portfolios and trends
  • Awareness and investment in Technology Trends in the Hospital Operating room setting

Collaborates cross functionally

  • Ability to work collaboratively across all US corporate functions, including Enterprise Sales & Service, Revenue Operations, other Marketing Specialties, Medical Affairs and more.
  • Ability to work strategically with the Sales Organization to understand our internal-customer needs and also be acutely in tune to the Customer needs
  • Ability to work effectively with the Global Marketing and Product Management/Development organizations related to global campaigns, roadmap planning, etc.


  • Develop product launch strategies
  • Collateral and content development including tools, presentations, reference guides, launch materials, etc.
  • Partnership with US Integrated Marketing Communication as well as Global Marketing



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Technical related field with Marketing experience, MBA preferred
  • 3-5+ years of demonstrated experience in the medical device marketing industry
  • Knowledge and experience in technical market segments preferred
  • Aptitude with a Technical Portfolio
  • Experience in social media strategy
  • Track record of working collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Proven track record of successful portfolio results
  • Demonstrated outstanding personal leadership
  • A true team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with executives both within the company, its partners, and its clients
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
