Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday 5:30AM-3:30PM)

A well-established precision machining company in Berlin Heights, OH is seeking experienced Screw Machine Operators with hands-on experience running ACME or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a production-focused, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate ACME or Davenport screw machines to produce high-precision metal components
Load material, make tooling changes, adjust feeds/speeds, and perform minor machine maintenance
Interpret production blueprints and verify conformance using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Monitor machine operation and part quality throughout the production cycle
Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical and dimensional issues
Maintain daily production records and quality documentation
Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
Collaborate with set-up technicians, maintenance, and quality personnel as needed
✅ Qualifications:
2+ years of experience operating ACME or Davenport screw machines
Familiarity with multi-spindle machine operation and tooling
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings and use precision inspection tools
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical training is a plus
