- Prepare and post customer payments and transactions related to account receivable,

- Maintain and update customers’ credit files as well as their files in the system on an as needed basis

- Contact customers by telephone or email regarding past delinquent accounts by reviewing accounts receivable aging reports

- Create reports regarding the status of customer account statuses as requested by the credit manager

- Research and resolve customer discrepancies and past due amounts with the assistance of the Credit manager if needed

- Prepare or assist in the monthly accounts receivable reconciliations

- Team-up with billing personnel to resolve/close open customer specific issues

- Perform other related duties as assigned



- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact in a professional manner with customers and co-workers

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

- At least 5 years or related experience required
