This position is on-site in our Rocky Hill Office.


Main Responsibilities

  • Audit invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies, and approves for payment
  • Prepare accounts payable checks
  • Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files
  • Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
  • Investigate all problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills
  • Assist with related special projects, as required
  • Monitor accounts payable to ensure payments are accurate and timely
  • Assist in monthly and annual closings  
  • Review, voucher and pay expense reports
  • Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies 
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have at least 2 years AP/AR experience 
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Data entry experience


   

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Sit for extended periods of time or may stand as needed 
  • May require walking primarily on a level surface throughout the day
  • Bending and reaching for files
  • Able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 10 lbs. on occasion

For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment
