Salary Range:    $18.00

Description

Responsibilities will include making credit card payments, research requests for signed back up, answering phone calls, assisting the team when needed, as well as special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answer phones and communicate with vendors on payment status
  • Make/process credit card payments
  • Process non-po invoices using GL and Division coding
  • Post invoices through amortization schedule
  • Process and issue payment for utility invoices
    1. GL/DIV codes
    2. Keeping up with utility list for Dylan for forecasting
    3. Issuing online ach/divvy payments and posting to ledger
  • Special projects
  • 40 hr. workweek
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWDLEGE REQUIRED: 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. Other competencies not listed may be required for specific positions.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a proficiency for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to perform simple math skills, basic reading, and have legible writing.
  • Two (2) years of administrative experience
  • 1-2 years working experience as accounting clerk preferred
  • NAV experience preferred

  • Indoor work environment in a cubicle/office.
  • The employee is constantly required to use hands to operate a computer and keyboard, and other office equipment.
  • The employee is constantly required to communicate in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift objects as needed
  • Typical schedule is Monday-Friday
