Position Summary:
Are you currently working towards an Accounting/Finance degree? Would you like to learn how various roles in an Accounting/Finance Department support the sales efforts in a small/midsize HVAC Manufacturers' Representative Firm? If so, this is an opportunity to work at an HVAC Sales company and learn about the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in various departments (Accounting/Finance, Office, and Sales Administration) where needed
- Supports preparation for Fiscal Year-end Audit
- Helps in various projects such as:
- Review of newly implemented Account Payable Automation software
- Drafting of Corporate Document Retention Policy
- Transition of Vendors to ACH payments
- Aids in the day-to-day duties of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High School Degree
- Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) program in Accounting/Finance/Business
- Computer skills required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet functionality required.
