Job Overview:

Position Summary:

Are you currently working towards an Accounting/Finance degree?  Would you like to learn how various roles in an Accounting/Finance Department support the sales efforts in a small/midsize HVAC Manufacturers' Representative Firm?  If so, this is an opportunity to work at an HVAC Sales company and learn about the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in various departments (Accounting/Finance, Office, and Sales Administration) where needed
  • Supports preparation for Fiscal Year-end Audit
  • Helps in various projects such as:
    • Review of newly implemented Account Payable Automation software
    • Drafting of Corporate Document Retention Policy
    • Transition of Vendors to ACH payments
  • Aids in the day-to-day duties of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree
  • Enrollment in an accredited Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) program in Accounting/Finance/Business
  • Computer skills required:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet functionality required.
  • Other skills required: 
    • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing as appropriate for the audience's needs.
    • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented by others, both verbally and in writing.
    • The ability to express ideas and convey information clearly, simply, and positively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
