This role will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and people management tasks. A successful candidate will be able to work independently and enjoy leading a diverse team of people. Candidate must be well-organized, flexible and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Primary Accounting Responsibilities:
Accounting for supply chain operations including freight, warehousing, contract manufacturing, procurement contracts, and inventory aging/obsolescence.
Partner with the Corporate Controllers group to support relevant external financial disclosures.
Review journal entries for accuracy and in a timely manner during close.
Review account reconciliations for accuracy and quality.
Prepare quarterly deliverables related to balance sheet and P&L analysis.
Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards as applicable to this area.
Assist with internal and external audits through coordination of requests and implementation of follow-up actions.
Partner with the business in continuous improvement efforts, projects, system implementations and other initiatives.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the department and manage the team through the change.
Advance dashboards and data visualization reporting and analysis.
Partner with the Corporate Controllers group, the Supply Chain Finance team, Division Finance teams, and functional counterparts to complete ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Primary People Management Responsibilities:
Supervise a team responsible for the several month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and disclosures.
Maintain a consistent focus on talent development and performance management.
Hold team accountable to objectives and monitor team performance through metrics.
Travel to other Campbell locations to provide guidance, as necessary. Willing to travel up to 25%.
Bachelor’s degree required, degree in accounting or finance preferred.
CPA certification strongly preferred
Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience required.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements required.
Demonstrated leadership skills required.
Highly motivated and proactive in problem solving required.
Relevant industry experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines and business demands preferred.
Experience with SAP and/or Blackline a plus.
