The Accounting Manager we want on our already high performing team will contribute significantly to the overall success of the company by directing and effectively managing the daily activity of the accounting team as both a manager and individual contributor. Work Location: Onsite spilt between New Ulm, MN & Eagan, MN facilities.  Hybrid optional may be available. 

Essential Functions: 

• Manage  all accounting operations (including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Cost      Accounting).
• Prepare daily cash flow activity and weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare, distribute, and present timely financial updates and reports to the  Corporate Controller and local management team: including detailed  analysis and insights.
• Communicate with the Corporate Finance team to ensure adherence to all corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain  accounting portion of company ERP system (NetSuite) and, working with IT and Corporate Finance, ensure proper integration with other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  
• Requires  3-5 years + as an experienced Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment.  
• Strong  communication skills (preferably having reported to management located at other sites).
• Detail  orientated with the ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret data.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems.  
• Proficient with building complex formulas in Excel.  
• Experience with implementation of new systems or establishing new processes.
• Familiarity  with Tableau, Power BI or other BI tools preferred.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Payroll and 401k accounting and compliance experience.  
• Understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processes in an accrual-based accounting environment.
• Ability to effectively communication within a high-growth, fast-paced company. 
• Solution provider with a positive “can-do “attitude.

The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, day shift position.  Scheduling flexibility required to accommodate to workload.
