SUMMARY: The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for A/R duties of processing customer payments, monitoring accounts receivable balances and process collections also assisting with monthly bank reconciliations. They will also be responsible for A/P duties of processing invoices. They perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the effective maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Post cash receipts, and payment posting
• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances
• Prepare A/R reconciliations for assigned customers
• Process AP posting vendor invoices via 3-way match and credit memos
• Favorably respond to customer and vendor inquiries
• Thoughtfully resolve customer account balance disputes timely and professionally
• Reconcile daily deposit batches to ensure deposits agree with bank records
• Prepare and record daily bank transactions
• Complete, generate, modify, modernize, organize (paperwork, files, documents, logs, and electronic folders, records etc.)
• Assist in pulling backup for audit purposes
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Dynamics – Navision
• Basic Knowledge of US GAAP
• Good customer service skills
