Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join the accounting team of a growing manufacturing and distribution company in Georgetown, TX. This position will primarily support Accounts Payable operations and will report directly to the Senior Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and support high-volume Accounts Payable activities

• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance

• Assist with vendor setup and vendor communication

• Reconcile invoices, statements, and payment discrepancies

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Support month-end close activities and reporting functions

• Collaborate with internal departments including operations, warehouse, and purchasing teams

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Experience working in** Accounts Payable** or general accounting support

• Strong ERP system experience required

• Experience with** SAP S/4HANA required**

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven manufacturing/distribution environment

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Tipalti Accounts Payable software strongly preferred

• Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment preferred

• Experience supporting high-volume invoice processing and vendor management

Additional Information

• Overtime is probable based on workload and business needs

• This is not a remote position. Candidate must be a current Austin area resident.
