Job Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible for processing, maintaining and reconciling accounting and subledger records. Communicates effectively and timely with involved parties while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


An essential job duty of this position is regularly reporting to work on time, and being able to perform the essential duties of the position.

 

 % Of Total Time

  • Process invoices accurately and timely via the accounting and document management systems.


  •  Scan, file, monitor and correct misfiled documentation in the electronic document management system.


  •  Responsible for investigation and resolution of invoice, and subledger discrepancies through interaction with vendors, customers, and internal staff.


  •  Interact tactfully and professionally with external and internal customers.


  •  Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.


  •  Perform as a backup within the department as needed.


  •  Perform other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience or Training: 2 years of related accounting experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality. 

Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration.

Technology/Equipment: Experience with an ERP system

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Most of the work for this position is performed in an office environment, however, there may be exposure to production areas requiring the use of PPE, uniform or protective clothing, and safety equipment.
