Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for accurate data entry, financial recordkeeping, and assisting with key accounting functions to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions using SAP ERP or similar systems
• Assist with bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining proper documentation
• Support audit preparation by organizing financial records and ensuring data accuracy
• Assist with budgeting activities and perform basic financial analysis to support reporting and decision-making
• Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP (or similar accounting systems)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
• High level of accuracy with strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Basic math skills with the ability to analyze financial data
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting audits or financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
