Job Summary

Sintel Inc., a growing metal fabrication company specializing in sheet and tube fabrication, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reporting, and provide payroll and financial support in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Invoice entry and PO matching

• Vendor payments and ACH processing

• Vendor maintenance and new vendor applications/entry

Accounts Receivable

• Daily invoicing and cash application

• Collections and customer account management

• JPM monitoring

Banking & Reconciliation

• Daily bank reconciliations

• Expense report processing

• ACH payments and bank transfers

Reporting & Analysis

• Weekly reporting: payroll reporting, accrual entries, costing utilities, financial statement generation

• Monthly reporting: accrual entries, costing utilities, financial analysis, statement generation, supplemental information preparation

Payroll Support & Additional

• Serve as backup for payroll processing (ADP system and time & attendance)

• Coordination of financial audits and reviews

• Sales tax compliance and reporting

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Assist with cost accounting and manufacturing financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or metal fabrication

• Strong hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Proficiency in ADP payroll, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

• Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a job-shop or metal fabrication environment

• Knowledge of costing and manufacturing financials

• Familiarity with sales tax and audit coordination

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $68,000 – $98,000 per year
