Accountant: Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems. Prepares or posts journal entries; maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts. Provides records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. May prepare reports and tax returns. Ensures accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations. May interpret reports and records for managers. Requires bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or business, with 2-5 years of related experience or equivalent. Performs core responsibilities which are more difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues. Has substantial understanding of position applying knowledge to complete a wide range of tasks with very little instruction and only general instruction on new assignments. Responsibilities are not all inclusive and ad-hoc projects may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Core Responsibilities:
Accrual accounting under US GAAP is required. Responsibilities may include data entry into NetSuite, General Ledger, banking transactions and the necessary record retention and reporting. Jobs within the family shall maintain appropriate segregations of duties and abide by internal controls.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to perform most duties at a computer workstation on a computer and phone.
Travel These positions generally do not require travel. There may be very rare circumstances where travel may be required but less than 10% of the time other than the CFO.
