Great opportunity to join a growing team of several other Account Relationship / Project Managers supporting the design and manufacturing of custom medical specimen collection test kits and medical transportation supplies.

  • Act as the primary contact for clients to manage the client relationship including forecasting and reporting for the client’s portfolio of custom products and transportation supplies.
  • Monitor the production, inventory levels, and distribution of client’s product portfolio.
  • Work with the team to manage the design and development of medical specimen collection kits per the client’s requirements, using company best practices and standard materials.
  • Assist in the setup new customers in each of the systems and provide customer training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Production Planning, Production, and Distribution to set up the operating procedures and stocking & shipping strategies for new kits.
  • Work with Procurement to source specific kit components, packaging elements, and kit boxes.
  • Support Business Development with project development needs, including financial analysis and budgeting for new kits being added to the portfolio.
  • Participate in, and support customer visits and quality audits.
  • Define, prepare, and report on new kit projects and performance KPIs as needed.
  • Handle all customer communication, including high-level project communications, shipping updates, performance reporting, and inquiries.
  • Some physical effort is required.
  • You will manage and provide leadership to your Project Management Assistant(s).

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Science based) strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree

3-5+ years applicable work experience preferably in sales, procurement, or customer service related to healthcare industry and/or clinical support.

Project management experience helpful.

Understanding of sourcing, production, distribution, and inventory management practices helpful.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Ability to interface with key customer representatives.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects by multitasking and effective prioritization skills.

Must be detailed oriented and have strong time management skills.

Prefer an understanding of logistics capabilities.

Prefer project management skills and experience.

Prefer SAP or ERP system experience.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)

Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Although the associate primarily works in an office environment, while performing the duties of this job, this role can be exposed to an industrial warehouse environment.

Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis.

Some physical effort is required.
