📍 Location: Based out of our Brookfield/Corporate office
🗺️ Territory: Southern Ozaukee County, Northern Milwaukee County, Southern Washington County, and Menomonee Falls
💰 Compensation: Base salary with commission opportunities

Are you motivated by building strong business relationships and helping customers find the right solutions? We are looking for an Account Manager to grow and support accounts within a key territory. This role offers a mix of field work, customer engagement, and sales strategy — all with the backing of a supportive team and trusted brand.

🎯 About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will visit businesses in your assigned territory to promote equipment, consult on solutions, and close sales. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, working closely with inside sales and service technicians to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience.

You will be responsible for generating new leads, maintaining strong relationships with current clients, and staying informed about the equipment and services we offer.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Make regular in-person visits to businesses, including cold calls and scheduled appointments
  • Promote material handling equipment and services to new and existing customers
  • Develop proposals and close sales with support from internal teams
  • Schedule and attend equipment demonstrations
  • Record sales activity, leads, and mileage in company systems
  • Stay up to date on equipment and industry trends through training and manufacturer sessions
  • Submit monthly forecasts and lost order reports
  • Support customers after the sale and help resolve any issues that may arise
  • Refer cross-division opportunities to the appropriate team members

🧩 What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or at least four years of industrial field sales experience
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment and terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and time management
  • Proficiency with computers and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Professional certification in sales (such as CAMH)
  • Experience across multiple areas of our business
  • Understanding of lean business principles
