Job Overview:

Account Manager Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating with clients to ensure that all their needs are understood and addressed
  • Building Strong relationships to maintain old business and acquire new accounts
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customers’ requests timely and accurately
  • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all process that pertain to the client’s requests
  • Always focusing on customer experience
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning customer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Regularly meet with the Director of Organic and Fair Trade to review account activities

 

Account Manager Basic Qualifications:

  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate product ideas to customer
  • Up-to-date understanding of the industry’s consumer behavior
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skill for dealing with different types of customer and clients
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing client data
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
  • Advanced motivational and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Bachelor’s Degree in General Business or Supply Chain Management required, or 3-5 years equivalent experience

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extensive periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, crawl and talk
