The Account Manager has the responsibility to accomplish the Sales organization mission of developing and maintaining a profitable customer base for Graco products by increasing the sales of Lubrication products, specifically in the Vehicle Service Equipment space, including but not limited to automotive dealerships and repair facilities.

This is a home-based field sales position with travel up to 70%.

Graco is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of highly-engineered systems for numerous industrial and commercial applications. This position supports our Lubrication Equipment Division (LED) in Anoka, MN. At LED, Industrial Lubrication products are used in wind energy, general manufacturing and steel and mining industries ( Petroleum Management products control fluids traditionally used for servicing vehicles, including pumps, tanks, hose reels, and meters (

Key Account Management

  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize target sales opportunities for key market segments.

  • Develop and execute strategies for target accounts and manage the sales relationship from platform specification to commercialization.

Market Development

  • Work closely with Marketing to gather competitive product, market intelligence and help implement winning strategies.

  • Identify market focused products/technologies/services needed to meet the industry needs.

Channel Development

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term development plans to support identified business strategies and penetrate accounts globally.

  • Define channel, sales, and service needs of the customer and implement applicable strategies to see these through the LED teams.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent related experience

  • 2 to 3 years sales experience (Fluid Power experience is a plus)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact and influence all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrates leadership ability

  • Ability to facilitate many strategic projects at one time

  • Demonstrates skills in planning, prioritizing, problem solving and decision-making

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation skills

  • Proficiency with computers (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint or equivalent)
