We are seeking an enthusiastic, tenacious, Federal Government Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidates will already have demonstrated success selling to federal government entities and be looking for a step up to a position with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with ibml’s Marketing and Sr Account Executive(s) to develop strategies to market & sell solutions to prospective, and existing, clients in the high-volume scanning and data capture market.
  • Develop campaign-level prospecting initiatives & activities in coordination with Marketing, Sales Management and Americas Sales Team(s) to target new business.
  • Coordinate and execute prospecting activities (phone, email, etc) including market research, initial inquiries, and follow-up communication.
  • Clearly articulate the value of ibml Solutions to C-Level, upper management, and middle management executives.
  • Review and provide regular analysis on pipeline and forecasting to VP, Americas Sales.
  • Attend, participate and support ibml marketing events.
  • Assist with developing system configurations and price quotations.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of all ibml products and services.
  • Exceed annual sales quota & objectives.

 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years Federal, State, or local government sales experience.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manor
  • Experience using a consultative sales approach
  • Ability to become a trusted guide for our customers and become their advocate within ibml.
  • Experience in SAAS sale methodologies.
  • Experience of Cloud Services
  • Experience in Federal Government contracting would be considered a plus
  • Experience working with CRM systems, especially Salesforce® an advantage.
  • Experience working with Prospecting systems, especially Zoominfo® an advantage.
  • Experience in intelligent document recognition, intelligent information management, or related areas would be considered a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Ability to travel in North America.
  • Excellent oral (phone/in-person) and written (email/presentation) communication skill
  • Strong consultative problem-solving skills with a client service orientation
  • Realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines
  • Integrity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, persistence, and achievement-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently without well-defined tasks
  • Resides in Washington DC or Birmingham, AL preferred
