YOUR POSITION:

As an Account Executive at designDATA, you will join an elite team of business development professionals responsible for hunting, developing, and acquiring business from new customers. We are results-driven, consultative, coachable and believe in the power of technology to improve business outcomes. As a sales team, we are competitive in the market but all about a culture of support internally. 

 

Your work will drive revenue and growth opportunities throughout the company while simultaneously helping your prospective clients solve their most important challenges with technology solutions.

 

No two organizations are alike, which means you’ll be engaging with different cultures, personalities, technology environments and business dynamics on a day-to-day basis. To support your prospective clients’ success, you will have a full suite of managed IT services and the subject matter expertise of our various organizational leaders at your disposal.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a “hunter”, focused on selling new accounts
  • Prospect potential clients using various methods including the telephone, email, LinkedIn, and interaction at industry events
  • Conduct meetings with C-level executives, averaging 8-10 net new meetings monthly
  • Manage pipeline opportunities and sales activities in accordance with a well-defined sales process
  • Close contractual agreements for designDATA's Managed Services (service desk, network management, cloud hosting, hardware-as-a-service, cybersecurity, VoIP, and training)
  • Achieve quota expectations with sales activity, new account closures, and new monthly recurring revenue

Build and maintain strong center-of-influence / referral relationships

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.   Travel will be required to participate in events or meet with clients and are typically day trips in nature.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The individual will be subject to sedentary work with the majority of hours in a professional office environment and will need to be able to quickly respond to a change in work demands. The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects (1-40 lbs.) are required.
