As an Account Development Manager, you will drive new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service existing customer accounts and find opportunities for growth within sales territory.
  • Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
  • Collaborate with PPG store managers and Home Depot stores to ensure customers’ needs are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with PPG pricing strategies.
  • Follows economic and industry activity and understands its implications on customer business, including potential new business opportunities.


  • High school diploma required with 3+ years of previous sales experience with stellar customer service acuity, Higher-level education degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, CRM software experience preferred.
  • Daily travel within assigned territory; must possess valid driver's license.
  • Previous coatings experience highly sought after.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
  • Preferably 2 to 5 years’ experience in sales in the paint or construction industry
